Tenkiv designs, builds and implements advanced clean energy systems. We developed a fully integrated solar energy system that provides renewable energy at a lower cost than any alternative. The Tenkiv Nexus can have profound, sustainable results on the pervasive and dire problem of lack of access to clean water across the globe. At least one third of the world’s population currently does not have access to safe drinking water. Diseases such as cholera, diarrhea, dysentery, hepatitis A, typhoid and polio would be significantly ameliorated if clean water can simply be made available to those populations. Hundreds of thousands of deaths can be avoided by implementing our method of sterilizing water from biologically contaminated sources. Currently, at least 1.8 billion people use a drinking water source contaminated with feces. Most countries in Africa, Asia, South America and Eastern Europe are affected by this problem.
