It’s rare that we get a chance to say anything about how our neighborhoods are changing, for better or for worse. This project was conceived as a way for the community to have a conversation about gentrification on the very surfaces that are transforming—to express frustration, delight, and nostalgia. These stickers provide a framework for starting that discussion and putting it in public view as a way to engage neighbors, business owners, visitors and community developers.
