Better Origin X1
AI-powered insect farm combines insects’ power to upcycle nutrients with cutting-edge technology.
How does it work?
Inside the Better Origin X1, insects consume waste, providing nutrient-rich food for animals.
At the beginning stage, the feedstock is delivered into the module and prepared to ensure it is free of bad bacteria. The X1 processes and provides feed to larvae. Our AI oversees the feeding and inspecting of the larvae’s health, so the farmer does not have to.
Once reach a growth period over 7-14 days, depending on the type of feed required, the larvae are harvested and delivered directly to the animals. New seed larvae is provided to the module without processing or additives on whatever frequency is needed.
Why is it needed?
Food waste accounts for 10% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions. In this case, insects need far less water and land than conventional feeds like soy. They can also be grown directly on a farm, and Better Origin X1 can save over 574 tonnes of CO? a year. Rich in protein and other vital nutrients, insect feed improves animal welfare and boosts productivity
How does it improve life?
The X1 is an excellent solution for supermarkets, food producers, and poultry farmers with at least 16,000 chickens. By simplifying the farming process through AI technology, it prepares the feed, feeds the larvae, and monitors factors such as larvae growth and temperature. The X1 is an excellent solution for supermarkets, food producers, and poultry farmers with at least 16,000 chickens.
Not only facilitates farming processes, but Better Origin X1 technology also makes it possible to reach NET zero emissions, mitigate food waste, save the land from deforestation, and improve animal welfare.
