Walking Cabinet (Gabinete Andante)
Children's game that provides tools to mitigate toxic stress
Walking Cabinet is a game for children from 6 to 10 years old without internet access, which aims to provide tools that mitigate toxic stress during childhood in times of change. For this reason, the game focuses on strengthening resilience through activities in which they explore the home based on their multiple intelligences, and thus work on their supportive relationships and their executive function. It is based on a methodology to formulate spaces at home for exploration and creation for children and their families, based on three phases: 1. Autonomous space for the child where he/she must create, from home materials, a character that will accompany him/her during the game and in the same way is a new friend in the child's life. 2. Shared space with family members or caregivers to work on a series of challenges from the various multiple intelligences. 3. Proactive space where the child challenges another family through play.
