Loss in Tanzania, and Mozambique is ~35% and in Zimbabwe ~53% Solution: Via the Susteq Water ATM people benefit by making a small payment for a reliable source of safe water. These payments are used by the water utility company to expand, maintain and repair their safe water supply infrastructure. Why Now: Water access gets more expensive for people due to population growth and climate change. Utility companies have an increasing demand for automated revenue collection via mobile phone payments and prepaid water ATM’s.
