ATMO, system of evaporated water
Project seeks to raise awareness about caring for water, by means of capturing the evaporated water.
We are aware of the climatic disasters due the global warming. This situation shows a common factor, water, natural resource which is nowadays in a situation of global scarcity.
The activity with the highest consumption is agriculture, with 73% of consumption of the resource, which makes it imperative to adopt new practices to this condition of scarcity, even more, sector of greater vulnerability Farming, where its main problem is the small efficiency in irrigation, added to the enormous losses by evapotranspiration of the crops; A condition that is posed as opportunity in order to obtain a new source of water.
ATMO is a system of harvest of evaporated water, which replicates the conditions of the atmosphere for the hydrological cycle. It is a greenhouse model, which induces evapotranspiration, then the water in the vapor state, condenses and returns to its liquid state to be reused in a capillary irrigation.
