1 out of every 6 Danes are diagnosed with depression in their lifetime. 2 out of 3 will relapse after recovery. Thus Leapcraft has designed a solution called "NoDep" to tackle this burdensome issue for the Region of Southern Denmark. The tele psychiatric solution offers a 10-week treatment for depression made into a modern web app that allows patients to treat themsleves without the need for medication. Leapcraft worked deeply with patients to create an engaging user experience through cognitive behavioural therapy in collaboration with physiologists. The program is designed to give the patient a simple, flexible and comfortable on-demand solution available on laptops & tablets without constantly visiting clinics. NoDep is free of charge for the region's citizens and can treat 4 times as many patients as conventional therapy for the same cost. So far 180 patients have received treatment and the results already show a significant decrease in symptoms compared to conventional therapy.
