Zipline named in FastCompany's 50 most innovative companies of 2020. Zipline joins other Index alumni Beyond Meat, faux-meats made from plant proteins; Apple – who won an Index Award in 2005 for the iPod; and DoNotPay, a chatbot lawyer for good, named an Index Award Finalist in 2017. Congratulations to them all!
Piñatex used in new Hugo Boss suit, making it the first premium brand suit to be approved by PETA. "We are delighted to see that animal-friendly fashion is on the rise, and BOSS is the first world-known premium brand to set this stylish milestone in menswear," said PETA Germany Vice President Harald Ullmann. "Kind people can now buy high-end business suits that are not only stylish and fashionable but also cruelty-free and sustainable." Previously, Piñatex was also used in Hugo Boss' 2019 vegan men's footwear line.
what3words now integrated with taxi-hailing app Careem. This month, Careem announced that customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can now enter what3words addresses for their pickup and drop-off points. Careem joins a broad range of other ride-sharing services using what3words including Cabify, S.RIDE, LULA and more.
Circuit Scribe maker Electroninks announces a new strategic alliance with Enjet Inc., the world leader in ultra-high-resolution printing to support advanced manufacturing of display, touchpanel, and packaging products. Electroninks and Enjet will work together to supply conductive ink printing in several markets including micro-LED, mini-LED, EMI Shielding, and die-attach/interconnect applications.
