The project Boss Ladies wants to stimulate girls and young women's interest in applying to the construction, civil engineering and installation industries. We want to strengthen the professional pride of young women and contribute to women achieving good internships and increasing well-being in vocational education and in companies in the industries. We will develop new methods and knowledge in an industry where it has proved difficult to attract and retain female talent. The project will thus activate new practical knowledge on how we create cultural changes in industries that today mainly attract boys and men. The challenge is right in front of us: In just 10 years, we in Denmark will lack 17,000 skilled workers in the construction, civil engineering and installation industries. At the same time, we know that only nine percent of the total number of employees in the industries are women.
