An average box of Lego bricks costs the same as the salary that half of the Brazilian population makes a month. Maker/STEAM education is not affordable for 90% of the population. During COVID lockdown, most children don't have access to basic educational resources at all. Not to mention technology, arts, or science practices. Since 2015 we design, share, and build a community around DIY, STEAM educational toys, building blocks system to make at home using very simple tools and really cheap or even recycled materials. The project was awarded different art, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and design prizes. It reached more than 20.000 children and 1000 teachers through 150 workshops and interventions in 50 cities in 10 countries on 4 continents.
