As droughts and shortages appear in the news more and more frequently, water resource management is becoming increasingly important. We've created an Internet of Things solution that makes it easy to monitor and control water systems at any scale. In this video, we show you how to build a water management application that monitors water levels in tanks, and then remotely refills the tanks when necessary. If the water volume in a tank falls below a specified level, the application will check the weather forecast using Yahoo! Weather in order to determine whether rain is expected in the area; if no rain is expected, a call is placed to the tank superintendent using Nexmo to allow him or her to remotely refill the tank from a reserve water source.
