With a vision of democratizing plant based cooking, the Plant Jammer app aims to guide the user with a food pairing technology in building their own recipes. The app is a discovery space that empowers users through a modular cooking approach powered by simplified frame recipes - either from scratch or by modifying another user's recipe. The design of the app nudges the users' behaviour towards a mode of discovery, curiosity and empowerment with an intuitive interface that takes the complete user journey and experience into account; from inspiration, planning, shopping, cooking to eating and sharing. In that sense, the product design is an innovation that changes the meaning of convenience in cooking. Convenience does not have to mean downgrading or compromising on either health, sustainability or taste. Convenience in cooking can be customization, smart taste and techniques and variety without compromises - which is just Plant Jammer's mission. The app is now in the prototype stage.
