Dewpoint is a group project that was a finalist in the 2016 Biodesign Challenge. Dewpoint's design was inspired by the Opuntia genus of cacti and their ability to efficiently collect and store water droplets from fog. The project was to create a technology that would solve a problem in the theme of water. A set of spiny panels, Dewpoint draws inspiration from cacti’s ability to efficiently collect and store water droplets from fog.
