Twenty percent of the world's population suffers from allergy and in Europe only, around 40% of the population are allergic to pollen. With Klara we aim to offer a better future for them. Existing pollen apps on the market are not personalised and they present data in a way that requires a high health literacy. Our goals were to educate and empower people by making data and information more accessible and personalised. Klara provides information such as pollen count both current & 3-day forecast, location-based air quality and weather. Using a machine learning algorithm which combines the pollen data with patient reported information, Klara provides individual insights and “pollen feels like” indicator to give unique daily allergy guidance. For example, depending on your sensitivity to different pollen types, you will see a happy green face or a red sad face.
