WapiMED SARL is an African Startup founded in 2016, developing solutions aiming to ease access to quality healthcare in the African Sub-Saharan Region. In many African countries, the lack of healthcare staff, facilities, patient centric information, etc. generate numerous challenges that cost lives. ICT innovators want to tackle this using eHealth services & technologies with the aim of improving patient care. It is a unique & scalable “Freemium” e-health service, that is also available in other Sub Saharan countries, and aims to ease/optimize the interactions between the healthcare providers. It will host add-on services such as MEDpay, a Cash-To-Health solution being developed with a South African FinTech.
