We are a design students team of University Diego Portales (Macarena Alonzo, Catalina López, Matías Pezoa, Paz Piña) motived in seek solutions to improve the quality of life for elderly, that through research and the use of strategic design tools, we managed to finded critical points in the consumption of their medications, which led us to develop SIPAM, system dedicated to elderly people who suffer from chronic diseases.

Medicines Identification System for chronic seniors in the public health centres.
SIPAM it's an identification system for medicines that are monthly delivered at public health entities to senior people with chronic diseases in Chile. It uses reusables bags that are labeled with all the meds information to get a right dosification. The medications are classed on color categories according to their usefulness and affection to the body. It comes with an element that allows their transportation to the moment of returning each month to look for their delivered recipe.
