Plastics are everywhere. Single-use straws stand out the most, with 30 billion and more produced each year. Every day, more than 50 million straws are used and disposed, creating more garbage, thus, endangering health of humanity or more over, the global marine environment. The high cost of recycling straws makes manufacturers less likely to recollect these products; burying straws lead to more costs with non-decayable problem. Marine litter affects the bio-environment, threatening the lives of creatures living in the ocean when it is miss-ingested by these animals, stopping them from food-uptake, leading them to death. Foldable Straw is composed of a straw and a straw sheath out of a paper, reducing both wastes and bulk volume. Form the straw and the sheath at a time with one single paper by folding the paper, sealing the edge with heat pressing machine, and cut out the notch with a perforating rotary cutter. Flatten the straw after use and put back into the sheath to recycle.
