Children with Asperger Syndrome (AS) have a psychiatric disorder characterised by impairments in social interaction as well as unusual and restricted behaviour and interest patterns. The Kikkerland board game is designed to amuse children with AS, but also to help them socialize and learn principles such as understanding and observing rules, waiting for one's turn and communicating with others. At the same time, Kikkerland teaches other children how to deal with friends who have AS.
