All wood architecture prototyped for a school for mentally disabled children

Often school buildings are not adapted for the special needs of mentally disabled children, whose capacity to concentrate is limited, which poses an educational problem. The school design is based on the known fact that daylight, sunshine and fresh air boost concentration in mentally disabled children. The school is situated in a forest, providing dappled light through the treetops. The experience of the daylight cycle enhances the children's learning capabilities. To accentuate light changes, the school is made entirely of wood, which also adjusts humidity, breaks noise and stores thermal energy.
