Continuous Territorial 3Dprinting with strategic use of currents and local material-
“A small scale solution for a truly large scale problem, where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”The project focuses on Coastal Resilience and Island Formation through synthesis of specific, locally adaptable processes and procedures. The powerful idea, subtle design approach and transferable adaptable concept are combined to produce new kind of highly resilient continuously and passively 3d printed, highly articulated coastal fabric on a territorial scale, an amphibious connection between water environment and dry land while offering qualitative and quantitative improvement to life, culture and biodiversity in addition to offering an adaptable response to rising sea levels, fresh water shortages and loss of habitat, providing long term resilience. The project engages with comprehensive multi objective design range where innovation, contextual and aesthetic impact, environmental quality, economic performance and compatibility and ethical standards play a vital role.
