We utilize waste textiles from the danish fashion industry and transform them into zero-waste design products. In the production we create jobs for refugee- and immigrant women for whom it is hard to penetrate the danish labour market. The women possess a natural heritage and interest within handcraft and design which gives them a motivation to participate. Within the workspace we have created a close knitted community which strengthens professional competencies, but also provides a supporting and loving space that makes you feel like you belong. By working closely with the local jobcenters we localize individuals who we invite to join our program and we design specific tasks for the individual which they can manage and grow from. We produce and sell lifestyle products like pillows, accessories, interior etc - all made 100% from waste materials. By utilizing these textile materials, we save up to 30 mio kg of CO2 pr. year. Our social impact is approx 520.000 € at this point.
