PET Lamp: triple bottom balance lamps!
Our goal: make attractive and desirable objects, taking care of a global problem with local action.
How might we recover handcraft, generate employment, use sustainable materials and vendible solutions? Embed design!
Our last goal is to make attractive, desirable and contemporary objects, taking care of a global problem with local action.
2011, year of conception of the project in Spain. 2012,launch of the Colombian experience and, 2013, expansion to other countries and cultures beginning with Chile.
From Madrid, the challenge is to transform this half-finished product, the lamp shade created by artisans, into a product ready to be sold on the market: the lamp.
PET Lamp for us has become a pretext for entering into the lives of people in a manner that would not have been possible any other way. We coexist hand in hand with the artisans who produce the PET Lamps, a potent product full of stories to be told.
Creating a constant demand for our products enables this project to become durable and that its social impact remains real.
