SMALLrevolution has developed a method for recycling plastic. It is called SMALLupcycle and consists of 100% recycled and recyclable plastic waste. SMALLupcycle is a way to avoid incineration and CO2 emissions. The designs are 100% reusable and can be re-molded into new valuable products again and again. In this way SMALLrevolution gives several new lives to plastic waste that would have been burned off and cost carbon emissions. The method is that they sort different types of plastic from households plastic waste. They work with type 1 of recycled plastic, Polyethylen which is the most common type of plastic being used. Smallrevolution choose specific colors from the plastic waste that they like for their design and produce them locally in Denmark in close cooperation with Denmark's leading plastic supplier.
