Amagerstolen
Amagerstolen has taken on the importance of sustainability as integral to what it does, comfort.
The Amagerstolen is a solid oak chair characterized by a holistic approach towards integrating furniture with architecture and utility items to create coherent spaces with strong identity and ease of function. Amagerstolen is following in the footsteps of the giants of the past generations while showing new ways to address the challenges of our time through continuously integrating environmentally friendly features and new technology into the tradition. Amagerstolen demonstrates how a simple and honest design enhances the qualities of the material, which in return delivers a strong and unique expression to the furniture. Amagerstolen is a handmade armchair in oiled oak (B 55 cm x H 76 cm x D 52 cm) with an upholstery by hand in Hallingdal 65 (Nanna Ditzel, 1965) individually produced in Amager, Copenhagen.
