Care2Reuse
The global platform for people to connect & reuse – a world with less waste and stronger communities
Everyday things are being thrown away that are still usable and often replaced by new ones, growing the need for recycling, incineration and landfilling, and increasing the demand for raw material and resources for new things to be produced and sold.
Care2Reuse is an app where people can connect and exchange things to be reused, for free. Apart from the environmental impact, it lowers inequality as an innovative wealth redistribution tool, by removing cost-barriers to access things.
Care2Reuse is a common platform, a market place for peer-to- peer reuse of things, which does not have any limitation of location, language and scale, as it is built, created and populated by its users, everywhere in the world. People post, connect with their local community, reuse things and build their own environmental and social profile that will inspire others to do the same. C2R will attract not only current ‘reusers’ of the world, but incentivize people from all parts of society to care to reuse.
