According to WHO, 4.3 million people a year die prematurely from illness attributable to the air pollution. A bulk of this comes from road traffic and industrial emissions. We are on a mission to change this by making it possible to measure and modulate the air quality and showing the factors responsible. We have designed a low cost sensor that enables both citizens and governments to interact on the basis of actual data in real-time and with detail maps. This is made possible by our technology innovation and cloud software services. We have reduced the cost of doing this by 1/100 and easy to implement on any light pole or solar power. The compact, rugged design enables ease of deployment and transparency about environmental issues. Our solution removes technical complexity and enables access to citizen science to empower communities directly. We have deployed so far in Denmark, Norway, Austria, UK, Spain, India and soon in China & Mexico.
