With Nokia’s Fastmile 5G Gateway, our goal was to create a product that would allow users access to high-speed internet with an easy installation. By using the latest 5G wireless technology with high gain antennas, users can access the internet at speeds up to twenty-five times faster than 4G. This wireless solution also avoids the need and cost of bringing fiber into the home commonly required for high-speed broadband. The interface on the top of the device allows for an easy set-up by showing users where the strongest signal comes from and by then guiding them on where to position the device in their homes to maximize reception.
