LIGHT GUIDE
Mountain Guide from Nano Light-Emitting Plants express balance between nature and technology
What if we take plant itself as the road light ? Can we replace road light with natural plant itself ?
Normally, Light pollution is the presence of anthropocentric light in the night environment. Therefore, we dedicated to find an environmentally friendly way to decrease light pollution efficiently. The latest research published by NanoMets, an international journal of the MIT biotechnology research team, found that leaves of arugula, spinach, kale, and Spanish cabbage were impregnated with high pressure. In the solution of special nanomolecules such as luciferase oxidase, coenzyme and phosphor from fireflies, “self-illuminated plants” can be created. LIGHT GUIDE is a mountain guide from Nano Light-Emitting Plants. The project is based in MIT avant-garde technique to environmentally friendly prevent light pollution. In the future, LIGHT GUIDE will replace electric-powered streetlights to reduce light pollution and the impact of the original mountain streetlight on biodiversity.
