The 2012 IBM CEO Study informs us that CEOs consistently highlight four personal characteristics most critical for employees’ future success: being collaborative, communicative, creative and flexible. But there is a big gap between what an average college student learns and what the employers demand as these highly valued characteristics are not readily taught in colleges and universities today. In order to address this problem, we created BeLink, a gamified skill-sharing platform that connects like-minded individuals for project collaborations, while building their portfolio and making new friends. Designed to gamify and incentivize collaboration, students are more encouraged to work with each other on their projects.
