I am a calm but very driven person, both in the professional and private spheres. I was raised in an enterprising family who never backed down. This attitude gave me the strength to start a student-business, to work part-time during my studies and be the student ambassador of the Latitudes Network (London - UK). Recently, I have been working full-time in collaboration with renowned landscape architecture office ‘Bureau Bas Smets’ (Brussels - Belgium).

Kulusuk in Transit
I propose a linear structure manifesting the invisible web of social connections in Kulusuk village.
Considering that the aerial landscape of Greenland and the aerial infrastructure at Kulusuk Airport have a vital input on the cultural & social landscape of Kulusuk Island, how can the process of linking a place to places beyond, create a uniqueness of space grounded within a local community?
On a primary level, I propose a linear structure serving the local community as a ‘terminal’, manifesting the invisible web of social connections in the settlement. On a secondary level, the linear structure highlights the connection, entanglement and importance of the aerial landscape of Greenland on the island of Kulusuk. The intervention becomes more evident from the air; it can only be viewed momentarily in its entirety through the window of an airplane or helicopter.
