DiscoverED: a web app for higher-ed teachers to create interactive syllabi in a timeline format
An app to create interactive syllabi timelines improving offline class collaboration
There are many collaboration and general purpose management tools, and even some within the academia. Yet most teachers still outline classes in static documents or hard to follow websites.
DiscoverED is a new tool for instructors who can use this interactive app to plan courses and collaborative class activities. This digial companion improves offline learning experiences and education quality within class.
With DiscoverED teachers create and display an interactive and updatable version of their syllabi in a powerful timeline format simplifying course resource management and creating online collaboration space for sharing, thinking and discussing class topics. Like so multiple class units, content resources and milestones can be seamlessly added and managed by instructors over time.
Students can navigate content and class progress as they zoom in and out, connecting everyone in a space to discuss and collaboratively create and share content.
