Moneythink
Moneythink is a service to increase the financial capability of American youth.
Out of 100 low-income high school graduates, only 16 will complete a bachelors degree in 6 years. Over 70% of those who left college cite high expenses and needing to work to make money as their main causes for leaving. Moneythink is a non-profit organization that aims to increase the financial capability of American youth by training college volunteers to serve as financial mentors for low-income high school students. Moneythink uses research-driven coaching to help students complete an affordable post secondary education by offering easily accessible guidance from senior year of high school first year of college. The organization is self-described as "the only movement of young people working to restore the economic health of America through financial education. Moneythink's curriculum involves the use of a mobile app to help students demonstrate their financial skills.
