LUCKY UNPRINTER
A Loyal And Friendly Friend For Office With Print And Unprint Function To Reduce Paper Usage
Since many waste paper from the business and government documents, millions tons of CO2 is produced every year. Recycling paper is a long and consuming resource process even though it is what we should do. What if we could simply eliminate the words on the paper rather than re-pulping? According to the statistics, the carbon emissions are only half of recycling, and the efficiency is almost 20 times as well. The research team from the University of Cambridge have developed the technology of unprinting that can remove ink without damaging the paper. By using 532 nm green laser light which can easily absorb by dark toner, but passed harmlessly through cellulose fibers in the paper. The plastic polymer in the toner is vaporized, then the paper becomes clean and usable again. The design form of the Lucky Unprinter uses the best friend of human - "Dog". Lucky is a common name for the dog in Taiwan. The Lucky Unprinter is looking forward to being the best partner of protecting earth.
