Oliber, Freedom in your hands
Oliber is an orthosis for people with hands atrophied. It helps them do daily activities on their own
Oliber is an orthosis for people with hands atrophied by various causes such as amputees, stump hands, arthritis or osteoarthritis, which seeks to provide autonomy when eating, writing or other daily activities.
Nowadays there are several diseases or causes that lead to partial or total atrophy of the hands, being these hand in cocoon (EB), arthritis, osteoarthritis, burns or amputations of hands.
The user is affected to perform his daily activities such as eating, writing, brushing his teeth or drawing, affecting his autonomy.
This is why Oliber appears, an orthosis with a mechanism of magnets that by means of metal plates allows to attach any object that the user wishes to use.
Given its materials and ergonomics some of Oliber's advantages are its easy posture, since even a person with a stump hand can put it by its own and it can be customized according to the color that the user wants in order to help in their self-esteem and thus wish to show their hands
