IRIS PROJECT
Delivering innovative aerial solutions to facilitate diagnostics in remote communities.
It became painfully apparent during the Ebola crisis that current methods are often inadequate to provide proper diagnostic tests in remote locations. As such, IRIS. will act as the link between drone manufacturers and healthcare services to provide a safe, fast and inexpensive means by which to facilitate a feasible testing procedure. This will increase patient throughput, slow the spread of infectious disease, and prevent misdiagnoses.
Our service is designed around the provision of a resilient system which will facilitate diagnostics in challenging environments. This is formed of 3 facets: transport of diagnostic specimens using drones; communication of results to the patient; and provision of medication. IRIS will form key partnerships in order to open up the healthcare market to drone manufacturers. This will allow us to quickly scale our offering, offering flexibility to our customers as well as providing a clear source of added value.
