Solar Mobile Hospital
The unit contains three different medical stations to bring health to underserved areas.
Th unit is solar powered to be able to carry temperature sensitive medicine/vaccines for health access to people in underserved areas. Sections include:
1. Pharmacy – contain the most common essential medicines and interventions needed by the local community as determined by the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines.
2. Lab: Staffed with a Lab technician analyzing hundreds of specimens in a single shift.
3. General Practitioner - A full-time general practitioner sees patients daily and treat illnesses ranging from common ailments such as malaria to more pressing matters such as HIV treatment and diagnosis.
