EPI Guard - saving one protecting everyone
Medical isolation and transportation system giving full protection from highly infectious diseases.
EpiShuttle is a medical isolation and transportation system from EpiGuard, designed for optimal safety and numerous treatment options during patient loading and transport. The unit is a one-patient isolator made of rigid solvent resistant materials for strength and durability. EpiShuttle can be carried as a stretcher, and is compatible for use with most stretcher systems available on the marked today. The fastening system has been designed and tested according to relevant road- and air requirements.
The design allows full intensive care treatment of emergency medicine procedures, such as intubation and insertion of central venous catheters.
The EpiShuttle is also compatible with the majority of mechanical ventilator circuits. The isolator provide full environmental protection from particulate crosscontamination of highly infectious diseases using negative pressure and HEPA-filtration.
A low cost field- version is in development, specifically aimed at treatment in areas of crisis.
