Changing Lives
An identity project to turn around a failing school in the United Kingdom

Evelyn Community School in the London borough Hillingdon had a bad reputation, low attendance and was featured on Ofsted's “Special Measures” list for schools failing or likely to fail in giving its pupils an acceptable standard of education.

The designers created a new identity for the school, covering logo, website, school uniform, lapel pins, certificates, signage, banners and newsletters. As a result of the new identity, which also included renaming the school Stockley Academy, the school is no longer a “Special Measures” school, attendance is up 30%, and it even lures teachers from other schools.
