RecycleMatch
Auction off your trash

Companies in the U.S. spend $22 billion per year just to put waste into landfills. Yet approximately 70% of that waste can not only be productively used but has a tremendous amount of value. Brooke Farrell, founder of RecycleMatch, has a vision for the future of zero waste by turning cost centers into profit centers. The solution is the first B2B marketplace allowing companies to bid and transact online in order to buy, sell, or give their waste to commodity recyclables. By saving time, energy and money, (whilst saving the planet), RecycleMatch is a win-win-win for everyone.

It’s like they say: “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure”. Perceived value is the new black and at the moment recycling, upcycling and zero waste are the trending topics for corporations as waste which used to be considered unusable and costly do get rid of is now proving to be a true under-exploited gold mine.

Brooke Farrell was one of the first to recognize the large market for waste and by doing so, she found a way to give organizational waste a whole new value. Not only that, she found a way to do it sustainably, and thus in 2011 she founded RecycleMatch.

RecycleMatch has a vision for the future of zero waste. A future where it’s not just about achieving zero landfill, but about ensuring the best and highest use for all materials our organization generates.

The “Marketplace” on RecycleMatch.com is the first online B2B marketplace allowing companies to bid and transact online in order to buy, sell or give their waste or commodity recyclables to others. Companies list materials free of charge on the site, with their brands and identities kept confidential. Prospective buyers can ask questions, get samples and make bids on the materials which can be reused or upcycled as well as recycled.
