This uniquely designed village for Alzheimer’s patients will provide increased freedom and reduce anxiety. The 120 residents of the village in Dax, southwestern France, will have free rein to safely wonder about the beautiful ‘town’, enjoying it just as if it were a regular neighbourhood. They’ll be able to shop at the supermarket, visit the library and gym or even work on a small farm.
