The WINDVOGEL project, by Studio Roosegaarde, is a set of ‘smart’ kites and illuminated cables that generate green energy. As the kites soar through the air and the cables sway, the movement is converted into electricity – just like the dynamo of a bicycle. This breathtaking design isn’t just for show but can supply power to about 200 households.
