Hypo Hoist
A man-overboard recovery system

When fishermen and yachtsmen fall overboard, recovering the casualty quickly is important in order to avoid Cold Shock. Basically, The user-friendly Hypo Hoist is a head sail attached to the side of the boat and a halyard. Yachts and commercial vessels can use it to recover casualties from the water in the fastest possible time. The hoist maintains the casualty in a constant horizontal position to prevent a rapid drop in blood pressure, which would increase the risk of cardiac failure and neurological malfunction. With Hypo Hoist, the casualty is rolled onto the deck of the vessel and placed in the recovery position.
