"Ruyi" is a unique cultural symbol in Chinese culture, with the meaning "good luck" and "blessing". This work uses the classic seat shape as the structural basis for interception. It incorporates "Ruyi" into the seat's design, forming a curved seat and legs, and using continuous irregular curved lines and unique turning curves of the inner and outer corners to produce a rich rhythm of curves, bringing out a sense of flow and asymmetrical balance. In this way, the designer conveys a long-standing cultural heritage and simultaneously satisfy the user's preferences with customization, allowing people to extend from the feeling of use to the core of artistic spirit. The design of the chairs is from the tangible - aesthetic presentation of appearance and beauty to the intangible - function and behavior, and then sublimated to the level of idea, satisfying the inner psychology and enriching the philosophical level of thought to reach the unshakable realm.

Through years of experience in interior design, the creator has realized that the execution of each design and project requires the thoughts of countless people's effort. Different fields cooperate to establish a good multifaceted partnership and promote sustainable development, from the financial resources to the innovation and aesthetic presentation of the designers to the professional skills offered by the practitioners. In response to the current era of "technology," this work utilizes innovative "semi-mechanical processing" technology and processes to reduce the need for human labor through digital precision processing, thus solving the problem of increasing labor shortage. In addition, this work is made from a collection of small-sized cypress panels instead of using large pieces of raw wood directly, thus reducing material waste, indirectly preserving forest resources, promoting a green economy, ensuring a sustainable consumption and production model, and achieving "responsible consumption and production." The designer also uses technology and innovative techniques to achieve the goal of global sustainability.
