Oysterland is a system made of up to 250 baskets, each one has a 25-liter capacity and can support up to 10 kilos of oysters. The basket has floats and a digitally designed pattern that improves the flow of water into its interior, which helps in the cleaning process and oyster preservation.

The amount of trash and waste in the ocean has increased in the past decade; this system offers a new perspective where plastic isn't a foreign element in the marine environment. Oysterland converts what was once considered a pollutant into a sustainable and accessible tool in ostriculture.

The design considers two main aspects: ocean pollution and work sustainability. These panels are made through an accessible process that involves the oyster farming community, they can participate from the recollection of plastic waste to the grinding and assembly stage.
