As eco-friendly becomes an important element of urban planning, cities have become the new home for birds. However because the green spaces aren’t connected, the birds packs can’t expand to other area, and are decreasing in numbers. So we want to connect green spaces with wildlife corridor to solve this problem. Bird Hotel can be rested on the side of the streets, combined with pedestrian light, we can select the roads with less cars, to prevent birds from being scared. According to the preference of birds, we use plants to create a protection perch on the top of Bird Hotel, and provide the food and water to attract birds away from their original area and let them grow in numbers in the city. As to research, birds like to eat insects and berries. We use lights to attract insects, and select the plants that have berries which bird would eat. Bird Hotel also have a sewage recycle system to deal with the excrement of birds. By using IoT technology, we can make it automatic.
