In Colombia electricity coverage in rural areas is poor, which has affected the quality of life of families, especially children, because we know that while good nutrition is essential for their development and growth, but while refrigerators are essential, it is also one of the appliances that consume more energy, generate high emissions and solid waste, based on all this and other identified needs, SERVEL was designed and manufactured a modular refrigeration system that works with solar energy. A product was designed to be entirely recyclable, in which ergonomics was a fundamental part of its design, since the modularity that is generated is to be transported by people allowing to enter the logistics of distribution and avoid breaking the cold chain, SERVEL has represented a very big challenge, because each part has been designed from the functional and aesthetic, as well as the mechanical redesign of the refrigeration system since this redesign involved doing everything from scratch
