Connects entrepreneurs with small producers from communities affected by the Colombian conflict
The Montes de María are one of the areas most affected by conflict and violence in Colombia. In order for its inhabitants to return to work the land and turn it into their livelihood, the products grown here were taken to the most important chefs in the country, without intermediaries and with all the profits for the peasants. Product of Peace is an initiative of the UNDP's Environment and Sustainable Development area that connects small producers living in strategic ecosystems of the country with entrepreneurs who value the biodiversity and cultural heritage of communities affected by the Colombian conflict. Productos de la Paz, is a communication and public relations campaign that arises from the need to support farmers who are committed to conserving the country's forests to have access to markets and entrepreneurs interested in knowing their history and establishing relationships of fair Trade.
