Most of modern household appliances are digital, and they are smartly connected to various household systems. However, central vacuum cleaning systems have not kept up with the digital development, as the products on the market have stayed the same for ages. The Finnish vacuum cleaner company Allaway decided to change this: about five years ago, Allaway started developing a central vacuum cleaning system from scratch. Cutting-edge technology was applied in the project to develop a smart and sustainable central vacuum cleaning system. The mobile phone application communicating with the system alerts the user, for instance, about changing the dust bag or the filter. This five-year project came to completion in March this year, as the new central vacuum cleaning system was launched during the world's largest building service products fair in Frankfurt. Allaway has been participating in the ISH fair since the '90s, and by far the greatest interest was seen during the latest fair in March.
