Epic CleanTec
We've developed a modern, circular approach for greener, more sustainable cities.
We believe that the sustainable management of water and wastewater is one of the great challenges of our time. As the world continues to urbanize — with some estimates putting 70% of the world’s population in cities by 2050 — we are reaching the point when the conventional way of doing things simply cannot keep up. At Epic CleanTec, we see an opportunity to fundamentally shift the industry towards a more distributed, circular approach in which our wastewater resources — water, nutrients, energy, and carbon — are recovered and reused. In fact, we believe that the “waste” in wastewater is an endlessly renewable supply of valuable commodities. Born out of initial work the with the Bill and Melinda Gate's Foundation's Reinvent the Toilet Challenge, our founding team has spent the last five years rethinking how our urban water and wastewater infrastructure should be designed not just in the United States, but around the world.
