Bumbuku Creatives created this card game for Amnesty International for the 70th year celebration of Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Its purpose is to help children learn their rights and others' in a fun, playful and memorable way. The game is played by matching all 30 rights in the Declaration with their pairs of 30 illustrated cards. It's designed to: 1) Represent everyone equally, 2) Portray concepts that are abstract and alien for children (e.g. war and slavery), 3) Use positive language and imagery to show children claiming for human rights can be fun and hopeful, 4) Teach children that not only every human but also every living thing has rights. It was distributed for free in schools in Turkey, and the hope is for distribution to spread. Moreover, a significant idea behind the game is to teach children the necessity of understanding and standing up for human rights. There is no concept in this world that cannot be explained to children, if you do it right.
